Drama Desk Award Winner and Tony Nominee for the Broadway Hit, The Big Knife, Richard Kind is an accomplished stage, screen and television actor who continues to redefine the term “character actor.” Richard has appeared in the 2013 Academy Award Winning Best Picture, Argo, and is currently appearing in 10x10 and Obvious Chid, both of which are premiering at Sundance. He has a starring role in The Hereafter directed by Clint Eastwood, and his role as Uncle Arthur in A Serious Man was critically lauded worldwide. Additional film credits include The Visitor and The Station Agent, among many others, as well as voicing characters in A Bug’s Life and Cars. In television, besides his infamous roles on Spin City and Mad About You, Richard starred in the acclaimed HBO series, Luck, and has guest starred on Harry’s Law, Leverage, Burn Notice, Scrubs, Still Standing, The Division, Miss Match, and had a recurring role on Curb Your Enthusiasm. On stage, Richard has starred in the smash hit Broad musical The Producers, The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife, Candide, and Bounce, among others. Richard started his career in Chicago with the Practical Theater Company, founded by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Brad Hill and Gary Kroeger.

Kelly Kirklyn is an accomplished actress with credits that cover film, television and theater. Her television credits include recurring roles on Law & Order: SVU, House, Fringe, White Collar and Law & Order. She has also had the privilege to work with Academy Award Winner Melissa Leo in the film, The Sea Is All I Know and with Tony Award Winner, Shirley Knight, in the feature film Listen To Your Heart. Her most cherished experience was working with the late Tom Aldridge in the short film The Magic Helmet.

Lee Wilkof has appeared in 8 Broadway shows. He originated the roles of Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors and Sam Byck in Assassins, among his long list of theater credits. He has made appearances in over 100 films and television shows. He is the recipient of an Obie Award, and has been nominated for a Tony Award and three Drama Desk Awards. He will be directing the film No Pay, Nudity later this year.

The What Cheer? Brigade is a 19 piece brass band from Providence, Rhode Island. Their sound is an aggressive mix of Bollywood, The Balkans, New Orleans, Samba and Hip-Hop, played with the intensity of metal. Requiring no amplification, they prove that great parties need no electricity. Their live shows defy boundaries, appealing equally to punks and farmers, old and young.

Michael Slavens graduated from NY with a BFA in Film Production and started Five Eyed Films shortly thereafter. He has directed and produced a number of music videos, industrials and commercials. In 2009, he completed a collection of music videos for popular Kindie-Rock band, The Jimmies, entitled Trying Funny Stuff. As an editor, he has worked for VEVO, AOL and The New York Times, as well as on Television Shows, award-winning documentaries, and national commercials. What Cheer? is his first short film.

Jason Goldman (producer) graduated from Cornell University with a dual degree in Cinema Studies and Economics. He took a position with award-winning Hungry Man Productions in  New York, learning the process of commercial and music video production. He soon entered the freelance community, producing documentary content under acclaimed documentarian Albert Maysles, and in recent years has produced commercial content for Verizon, Hewlett-Packard, Starwood, IBM and Dior. Jason currently lives in New York City, where he balances his time between producing broadcast commercials and developing narrative and documentary projects.
